AI'm looking to make dog treats that are nicely decorated. The recipe for the cookies is no problem, but I need an icing that will harden. The only thing I can find is royal and white chocolate. Do these seem safe enough? Also I was thinking of airbrushing them. Can't find anything about that online! But it's basically just a bit of colored sugar so shouldn't be a problem right?
I give my Saint Bernard cookies with a yogurt peanut butter based icing... Sugar in that amount is not good for dogs is not good for them, it can make them very sick.
AThanks for the reply. That's what I thought but this is for a pet shop, they used to have a different supplier and lookin for a new one and specifically want a hard icing. I also work at old navy and we sold dog treats with a hard icing that looked sugar based...
I know there is a yogurt based royal icing for dogs out there but I am not able to find the recipe here online.
