We are moving house and ALL my cake books etc are packed and in storage and I've just been asked to make two cakes for a friend's 40th and her daughter's 1st birthday
I'm making a singe tier chocolate 8" and a three tier 6", 8", 10" vanilla sponge, but I don't have any of my recipes, so I'm after some tried a true recipes from you talented Cake Central bakers. I've had a look through the recipes section but there are just so many I'm overwhelmed....
I'm in the UK, so I need 'from scratch' cakes and I'd rather one with more cocoa than actual chocolate (it's for children).
Any suggestions GREATLY appreciated.
