I would love you to share the 'how to' - I am sure everyone on this thread would like to know

Please share the "how to". I hope it's for a round cake. I'm interested!

Make two white cake (round or square).  I use the WASC cake.  Color one green and the other black. Cut out a wide cone shape from the top and bottom of each.  Ensure the top of the cone is as wide as the top of the cake and the depth should be half-way down the height of the cake so the point of both cones meet in the center of the cake. Now both cakes should look like they have two giant cone shape holes in them, from the top and the bottom.  Now, generously line the inside of the cone opening in the black cake with a nice bright lemon yellow color buttercream.  Place one piece of the green cone shape cake into the black cake and press gently so it flushes with the top of the black cake.  Turn the cake over and do the same on the other opening.   Now buttercream and fondant your fully constructed cake.  When you cut a slice it should look just like the Jamaican flag.

Wow, this is harder to explain than I thought. Hope it all makes sense.  :-)

That's pretty much what I did, but it wasn't as neat as I wanted it to and some of the cones were not cut exactly the same size which was not good.  But I was happy with how it turned out though but will NEVER make this type again.  It was just too hard and too messy.

I know it can be a bit challenging but I am sure you did your best.

I would like the recipe of the Jamaica Flag cake

You can use any regular white cake recipe then add the green and black food coloring.   I use the WASC recipe.  I tried pasting it here but it would not allow me to.  You can find it on here in the recipe section.  Its quite popular with CC bakers.

Wilton's heart pan might get you close! The pan is a heart that you cook separately and then you cook the negative space or the cake around the heart. What if you cooked the "v" portion of the cake as the top and another "v" as the bottom and the negative space as the opposite? Here is the wilton link... http://www.wilton.com/store/site/product.cfm?id=9349557A-423B-522D-F223D89DFC184E85&killnav=1. Check out the "instruction and recipe booklet." Best wishes!
