I have this cake that I am doing this weekend. I've never done a cake that has a tilted tier like this one. I think I have it figured out, but was wanting to get your opinions on it as I would hat
e for the cake to fall before the wedding. The bottom tier is styrofoam so I am thinking it would help give better support. My thought was to make a styrofoam wedge to go between the 4th and 5th tier to lift that one end up then put a dowel through the 4th tier, wedge, and all the way through the bottom tier. As the base is a dummy cake I was also thinking I could "glue" the wedge to the bottom tier to help keep it in place. Do you think that would work? I'm just worried about the 4th tier sliding off the cake and then just having one big cake mess on the floor and a very unhappy bride. Any other ideas as how to stabilize it?Thank you so much!
