I am making a card hand cake and I need to transfer the Queen of Hearts onto fondant. I do not have access to and edible printer. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to do a transfer? Thanks so much

Hmm. first tip, pick a very simple design! Then, you can get some acetate sheets from the craft store, and print your design the size you need it to be, but mirrored. Trace your design on the acetate using black food color with a drop or two of liquid shortening to keep it wet. MAKE THE LINES VERY THIN! Then you can "stamp" the design onto the fondant. Color it is with edible markers or more edible paint, mixed with water or glycerin. Be careful not to smear your stamp. you need to place it perfectly, the first time. You can practice lines and stamping, on a scrap of fondant so you can see how thin it needs to be.
Alternately, you can print your design mirror image, and trace the lines with a graphite pencil, no 2 or harder, and use that as a transfer rub. You have to press pretty hard with the pencil, to leave a nice thick graphite line.
I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.
The person who works for nothing will always have plenty to do!
My sarcasm is good-humored. People generally really like me, in person ;-)
