I rolled out gumpaste too many times and now it's dry and brittle. Is there anything I can do to save it? Hate to have to match the color!

I believe trex is widely available in supermarkets. U can try a little butter. Just put a but on ur hands and knead. If needed add a little more. Thats how I did mine. Let me knoe if it works for u too xxx

I use shortening, (Crisco) on my fingers and work a little into small balls of it. I do this many times in the course of events and have never had the gumpaste appreciably suffer from it.

If you have knowledge, let others light their candles on it.

Never fear shadows. They simply mean there's a light shining somewhere nearby.

I make Wilton Gumtex gumpaste using the recipe on the back of the can.  But instead of using 4 cups PS, I add 3 cups PS to the recipe.  The result is a cold gooey tan blob that softens dead gumpaste.
