how can i lift buttercream cakes for stacking without messing up the finished sides?

Freeze them about half an hour to one hour! You can slam those puppies together and not get so much as a dent :-)

I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.

The person who works for nothing will always have plenty to do!

If you don't freeze your cakes, I put mine the fridge for a few hours and then you can just pick it up without smearing anything. I hope that helps!
