AHey everybody! I have a person that would like a male torso cake for a bachelorette party. They're very adamant that they hate fondant and would like only buttercream. Has anybody ever done an all buttercream torso cake? Are there any tips for making it look its best? I have a feeling I'm about to be buying a serious amount of Viva :P

I've been trying to figure out the same thing. I have three ideas for the abs, but maybe I'm just over thinking things. Should I just carve the cake into ab shape, use rice krispie treats, or use a combination of cake crumbles and frosting (cake balls) to mold them? What do you think?

AYeah, my plan so far is to use cake balls for the abs and chest, and then go over it with buttercream and smooth smooth smooth with viva. I'm hoping someone who's done it before will post so I don't get halfway through it and realize its ugly lol
