Moist cake pops

Hi,

I wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on how to make moist cake pops. I have the cake pop pan but find that even when adding pudding to my homemade or boxed cake mixes, that my pops come out drier that desired, even when cooked perfectly. Now I usually make cupcakes, crumble them and then add small amounts of icing until the mixture turns similar to playdoh. I think this way creates a soggy cake pop interior and I am looking for a more cake like interior. When I add less frosting to the crumbled mixture, the ball doesn't stick well. Any suggestions? thanks

You can soak them with simple syrup, or inject them with filling or syrup.

I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.

The person who works for nothing will always have plenty to do!

My sarcasm is good-humored. People generally really like me, in person ;-)
