AI made some marshmallow fondant earlier (big mistake, its humid and rainy here today) and ran out of powdered sugar. I wanted to salvage it, so I've covered it in Crisco and wrapped in Saran wrap. It will be a few hours before I can get more powdered sugar. Will it still be ok to add to the MMF after a few hours of sitting at room temp or do I need to scrap it and start over? Please help!!

You will be ok, with it, after getting your powder sugar, Just knead it good and add the sugar little at the time , until you like how it feels. hth

AThank you very much for replying!! I'm going to add some more sugar to it and hope it turns out right! Should've known to account for humidity and rainy weather. Lesson learned!
