I like the old style also made with butter cream instead of fondant!!! I guess the only thing that matters is what the bride or customers prefer.

If you look through my gallery you will see I have made many of those style cakes :)   Love them, easy to do and pretty, too.

As someone else commented earlier, show pix of them and you will get orders.

Always when I show a bride here in NL how the old school cakes look they are very suprised cause for them its a new style that they have never seen before
