I've had problems with my subscription in the past.  Received an email from CC offering a discount for a renewal two weeks ago.  Tried to renew but had problems with the discount code.  I called multiple times and left detailed messages with NO response.  I like the magazine when received but like everyone else the customer service ( or should I say WHAT CUSTOMER SERVICE) has helped me decide not to bother with the magazine.

I have not received an issue since January, have placed three phone calls and about a dozen emails to various email addresses-to no avail.  I love the magazine, but not the customer service!  What the heck!!?? Why is it that there are so many complaints, and even on their own website they are choosing to not respond!!???

Well, I was finally able to download my first 2 issues on my husband's iPad, but still not on my PC, which is where I wanted them.  I'd still like to get the PDF's.  I still have had no response from the company, though, which is disappointing.

So…got the latest issue by accident. But now I can't download the wedding issue (#2).

 

I've also sent 4 reasonable emails, one per week since the beginning of the month. No answer. I have two issues left in my subscription and then it will expire. I'm still wondering if I'll be lucky enough to get those. If the problems are not fixed, I won''t renew either. I hate getting empty links in exchange for my money and worse, feeling powerless when I get no answers for a month.

The same thing has happened to me with Volume 4 Issue 2 and also with Volume 3 Issue 9.  Im beyond over it now.  I have spent so much time contacting CC but obviously they dont give a hoot.  They have my money and they have made it quite clear that that is their main priority.  Jackie and Heath - I strongly recommend you guys get your act together before your disgusting customer service becomes your undoing!

Hello,

 

I was having the same problem, made my purchase and waited, and waited and send a few emails with no response. It turns out that the email with the link had gone to my server's junk folder.

 

I have been able to download my magazine successfully. 

 

On the link you give it a right click and save the file to your hard drive, usually into your "documents" folder. Choose the option "save link as" to give it the name you like. It downloads a PDF file. You would need Acrobat to view it.

 

Hope this note can help anyone waiting to enjoy their Cake Central magazine.

 

PS. Although I was able to solve my problem, the lack of communication from CC's Customer Service Department is very disappointing.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, I got the wrong link for the wedding issue and would lead me to issue 3, I contacted them trough facebook and I got a answer in less than 10 minutes, try that ! this is their page https://www.facebook.com/cakecentral?fref=ts

This is unreal! I renewed my subscription by paying with my husbands paypal account which in turn deleted my current subscrition and didn't send me any magazine for the "Renewal" Contacted them every which way possible so looks like Ill have to claim a refund via paypal because what else can someone do? A huge shame! This will get my money back for the renewal but will have to contact my bank to get the refund back for my last subscription. My advice would be for you all to do the same!
