letter toppers

Hello dear cakers :)

I need help.
A customer bring this photo 4 me to make like it for her wedding
So I want to know how to make these toppers ? I think its made of gumpaste , is it true?
did it need a wire support inside or not?
& how to attach it to the cake??
Any advice is realy appreciated

using the wire or skewer stick into cake
