Hi there,
If your making a standard batch of cake batter, and let's assume your recipe uses 1 cup of butter, since you have only salted butter, just reduce the amount that the recipe calls for by 1/4 tsp. When I'm baking and I use salted butter (husband bought the wrong kind) I always adjust my recipes up or down dependiing on if using salted or unsalted butter. Hope that helps!
