Elizabeth Marek of http://artisancakecompany.com was a guest on http://Cakefu.com a while back. This is what she does. Maybe you can contact her and have her do the batman for you?

AHoly infringement, Batman! Any likeness of the character, batmobile, or the logo would need to be purchased as a licensed figurine or topper unless you have permission from DC Comics.

Perhaps you can use the tutorials for the spiderman bust/head, adding rice krispies to the head to make it more Batman-like.

I don't think you should go get the head done by another cake designer. First of all, that cake designer would probably take the whole cake job or nothing. Second, it would be expensive.

AI don't know to much on this subject but the getting permission area is that able to be done? Or do you have to use a bought product?

Never hurts to ask. The worst that can happen is they say no.
