For our first cake, let's do one of my favorites.

This is a 6" round white with white choc mousse & fresh blueberries, 8" sq. white with white chocolate mousse & fresh strawberries, 14" round..blueberries, & 16" sq. fresh strawberries.
The lace is hand piped detail of the bride's gown. The 14" round is covered with edible pearls.
What would you charge?
Amazing Cake!!
That cake with those fillings and details I would charge $1302.00 in my area.
AThank you.
Today, my price would be about $1300 (1425 with tax & delivery) At the time, I created this cake (including tax & delivery) for $1130.
Cake alone retail $6.00 per person= $1380.
Plus: tax and delivery (I'd give free deliver with this order)
AWow! I want $6. Hopefully someday!
Side note: I charged $100 delivery/set up in this case. The venue is gorgeous, but tricky with 2 sets of stairs.
Before you get excited over my price, keep this in mind: I've been a wholesale business. (I'm just building my website to go retail). So right now I get $3.00 p.p. from my vendors for this type of decoration.
When you guys post what you would charge, could you also post where you are located please? I'm curious about the pricing for different regions...
AI have 248 servings for $930. I am in Northern Ky, in the greater Cincinnati area. It would be $868 without the fresh fruit.

AnnaBakesCakes, thank you for including the servings!
My Quote would be for 251 servings , $1570 . I am in Australia .
Bear in mind though , that I don't do buttercream so my quote would be for a fondant cake . Although on the odd occasion I do do buttercream ( never for wedding cakes ) I charge the same as fondant . I use ganache under my fondant.
LOL, I dont even own a 16' pan. Biggest I have is 14. Anyway $5 a serving, so $1250 for 250 servings plus delivery (varies per location). I'm in central Texas, by Austin.
I don't offer fresh fruit, so my version of that cake w/out the fresh fruit would be around $750ish buttercream. It's buttercream, right?
From WI.
My charts give me about 220 servings from that combination. I'd be at around $1200 with delivery.
