How to make this cake?

I REALLY want to make this cake. One think I am unsure of is how to achieve the color of this cake. Is it airbrushed? Any suggestions on how to replicate this cake? I think it is so beautiful and I love simple elegance like this.

It looks as though it has been airbrushed with one of the luster dusts. Americolor makes a line I really like.

The cake is absolutely beautiful.

I've seen some like this before where they used a large paint brush to apply luster dust paint to get the texture you see on the top tier.

I have also seen a tutorial can't remember where but they use a very large paintbrush and in affect paint the lustre on. You will need to have super smooth fondant because the lustre magnifies any imperfections on it. I'll try and find the tutorial and post it if I am able to

I wonder if you could do this on top of very smooth ganache, and not have to put fondant on. Ganache would have to be white chocolate I think. The cake is gorgeous! Do we know who made it?

I Googled the image, it was made by Baking Arts "a private cooking school located in San Francisco dedicated to Baking, Pastry and Confections", and the guy there learnt it from Faye Cahill in Sydney, Aus. Lovely, lovely, lovely.
