i use the wilton recipe and my flowers tend to come out off white, is it the gum-tex that causes this would gum targanauth be better as i cant get tylose in jamaica.

 I have not made that recipe, I use wilton premade (don,t like the can powder that you add water to. I make Nicholas lodge recipe or use the wilton premade. Love them both. hth

Most flowerpaste or gumpaste that you make yourself is slightly offwhite , I dust all my white flowers with white petal dust if I want a true white flower.
