abbreviation help needed!

hi there

 

i have seen different abbreviations being used in the recipe forum but i don't know what they are!!

 

could someone tell me what they are or is there a previous post stating what each abbreviation is? 

 

i am a newbie to cake central!!!!

Can you show us the abbreviations you are talking about or tell us. Little confused.

Some of the most common are:

MMF-marshmallow fondant

MFF-Michelle Foster's fondant

WASC-white almond sour cream

SMBC-Swiss meringue buttercream

IMBC-Italian meringue buttercream

Sorry, I just learned that the link to the acronym list (in the first post in that thread) is dead. However, you'll learn some of them by reading the thread.

thanks for that! i was reading them not having a clue what people where on about but it does all makes sense now!
