AHi, ladies! I have a quick question about using logos. I am making a purse cake for a friend's daughter's 26th birthday. I was thinking of putting a Chanel logo. Is that an infringement of any sort?

AYes. Chanel has copy right of that logo.

Wait....if you are doing it for a friend & will not make any profit, you can use it. This is a very tricky fine line. You can't profit in any way including usin I on a website or other promotion material.

AIf you sell the cake, transfer it to someone else, or display it publicly it is infringement if you don't have permission. As long as you make sure no one takes a picture of the cake and posts it online you should be OK though.
