Someone asked me for a number 50 birthday cake can any one help me on what size of cake to use for making the numbers and how much to charge. please help!!

How many people is it meant to serve? What sort of decorations are you doing? Give us a little more information, so we can help you price and size it up.

the cake is for 80 people. The really did not request any specific decorations exept it is for a man. They want buttercream.

Have you checked out the galleries? You can do a search for the number "50" or just surf through.

There are a bunch of great ideas to get you started with your own idea.

cost x 3 at least...

or if by wedding style...

$1.50 minimum/serving = $120

do you know the going rate for wedding cakes in your area (usually a per serving amount)??

you could do say similar, tho' lower price.

which is what I was suggesting --- that you charge $1.50 per serving.
so 80 servings X $1.50/serving = $120 total for the cake.
