ACan someone please tell me how to bake a cake where the edges do not end up crispy. Thank you

Several things could be causing it.  Your oven running too hot, baking too long, not filling the pan enough, quality of pan maybe?  Thinks that could help.  Check your oven temp with a separate oven thermometer.  If it runs hot you can adjust the knob.  I also bake at 325 and use home made oven strips (like magic strips) and an upside down icing nail in the center.  The strips insulate the edges so they bake slower and the nail conducts heat into the center to speed up the baking in the middle.  The combination also makes for a nice flat cake that you don't have to level.
