what are your top most requested wedding cake designs or design elements

and what design/design element was your favorite of all

in words mostly--pictures are ok too

geez i can't even think of that answer--too many years

please feel free to go first and respond at will and

i'll chime in later when i've dusted off my cerebral filing cabinet & found a few passwords

My favorites are something designed specifically for the couple. Sure there may be some elements borrowed from other cakes, but i really like tailor it to them.

My current favorite is the combo cake in my gallery with all the pearls and eyelet lace and hand piped lace detail.

I have one in April that is designed from an heirloom veil but done in a modern way. Can't wait for it. Actually a bit anxious...it's a bit ambitious.
