Hey guys! I am relatively new at this business and was wondering about charging. I have just made a stand up box of popcorn cake (You know the red and white striped bag that popcorn is served in.) and I have NO idea how much to charge her for it. We live in a small town, so adjust the price based on that! I was just wondering what kind of prices you guys would charge!!! Thanks! I really appreciate it!

Check this pricing matrix out that is on our site....http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-5711.html
This should help you a little, also call around to some bakeries and get some prices on cake....and try to keep your cake prices somewhere in the middle of the most expenisive and cheapest bakery.

Here's what I did first. I priced all of my different sized cakes. Like all sizes of rounds. Sheets. Squares. Then I based my specialty cakes on those prices. Like I charge $25.00 for a 13x9 sheet. So If you used only one mix for the popcorn cake, then adjust the price cause it is a specialty cake. Gosh, I hope this make sense to you.
