Has anyone tried replacing the milk/buttermilk in their recipe with almond milk? I have a friend who is lactose intolerant and was trying to think of ways to cater to customers with similar issues...

I have tried with soya milk and cocoa butter for a little extra richness and it's a pretty good pass, its better with chocolate cake as the cocoa hides the different flavour slightly. you can also use alpro soya cream to make diary free ganache with a dairy free chocolate!
