Veining A Peony Leaf

AHi, I would like to make a realistic peony leaf but do not a have a peony leaf veiner. What can I use instead? Thanks for your help.

you can use one of those boards with the groove in it to make the stem part of the leaf

 

or you can fold the leaf over just lightly then open it back up

 

and lightly mark little leaf veins with a toothpick

by lightly mark i mean

 

almost lay the toothpick on the surface of the leaf and gently draw it away/across the surface

 

or a thoroughly clean dedicated hat pin something with a point and a edge--soft though
