Baking Strips

Hello everyone

 

Does anyone know of a place where you can purchase extra large baking strips?  Not sure if they are available but looking for one ( If possible???) that would fit a 12x16 sheet pan.

You could just use two if you need... I know I bought the larger ones from my local cake supply shop... but I haven't used them all or measured them, so I don't know if I have one that would fit it...

You can make your own bake even strips with terry cloth or with old towels for any size pan you need.

They come in regular layer cake (pack of 2) and longer (pack of 4 different sizes).

 

 For larger pans, I use two strips with some overlap.  Look at them--you can see there is an unpadded section, make the overlap there if possible.

I fold newspaper into 2-inch wide strips, soak with water, and cover in aluminum foil.Then I tighten it around the cake pan and hold with a binder clip. You can make any length.

Agree with making your own out of an old towel, it works great and you can make any size you would like
