Your square pan is 96 sq inches.  A 10" round is 78.5  sq inches.  If your recipe is for 2 10" round layers,  It will fill the square pan once with enough leftover for cupcakes or a single 8" layer.  If your recipe fills a 10" pan once, make the recipe 1 1/2 times for a single layer in the square pan.  It will make a slightly taller layer, or make a few  cupcakes with the excess.     If your recipe is for a single 8" layer, double it for the square pan.  If your recipe is for 2 8" layers,  (each is 50" sq) that will be exactly what you need for a single square layer.  HTH
