Ok, so I did the pricing matrix (I had to redo it in microsoft). I went to the store and got my prices. I then divided them into units and marked ea. one up 3x, except for the chocopan which is pretty pricey, so I bumped it up 1.5x. I took my labor, multipled it by 5.15/hr. I'd be making a total of $7.45 profit if I only charge $1.50/cookie NOT individually wrapped. (Total order 24 cookies.) How much is reasonable though for a cookie? Thanks!

I have seen cookies go anywhere from $3 to 7 per cookie.

So if you charge even 2.50 you would be less than I have seen.

Do a search for cookie bouquets and that should send you back some companies that sell cookies. They are quite expensive.

Good luck!!

I´ve heard about prix matriz and I don´t have it. Could you share it with me? I´d like to review.

I know how you feel Alysa and I think it depends where you live too. I know some people sell their cookies anywhere from 2.50 - 6.00 each but I know that where I live no one would pay that. I don't want to sell myself short either so it is hard to figure out a suitable price where you will sell them and make a profit. Too high and you won't get orders and too low and its not worth making them. I think if you are in a bigger city you'd stand a chance of selling them at a higher price . Let us know how you make out. icon_smile.gif

Not sure if this will help or not but when I do cookie bouquets I charge $25.00 for seven cookies in. When I do the cookies on a tray (no bouquet, no sticks) I charge $25.00 for twelve cookies. Hope this helps! icon_smile.gif

edit to add:
Maybe I should also say that I buy a pot to put the cookies in, I individually wrap each cookie, wrap the entire bouquet and then make a bow for the top!

Whew! Thanks, guys. I guess I just needed a reality check. I'll charge her $2./cookie and if she wants them that's what she'll pay. Cross your fingers!
