Worm like look to Buttercream transfers

Can you tell me how to avoid that worm like look to a frozen buttercream transfer. When I fill in a color it looks great as I smooth it out but when I transfer it to the cake, the right side looks wormy.

Thin your icing down just a bit. Do the little smoochy thing I describe here:

If all else fails, doctor the top with a hot water paint brush.

Learn to use BC glaze instead. (found on page two of the same album tutorial)

When I played with this just last night in fact, I seen part of the design had the same thing going on, but the other half didnt. I started to think about it, and the part that didnt have the worm look was the first part that I did and I worried so I patted it down and layered more ontop of that. I am sure you will work it out especially with cali4dawn helping you!

Following some great advice, I thinned out my icing and lo and behold the result was great. Thanks to all.

QUESTION!!!! HELP!!!
My first 3 buttercream transfers were great. but now every time I make one the outline won't come off clean. I am having to go back with the icing after I set it on the cake. It sticks to the wax paper... I did add a few drops of black dye to make the outline black instead of brown.. But would that really make a difference? I just use wal mart brand fudge.. The dye is the only thing I have changed... HELP making pooh tomorrow night for saturday.. icon_lol.gif WOOHOO I am getting brave baking the night before!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

It's getting a hint a warmer outside. This may be affecting you also. I wouldn't think adding the dye would matter... but try a small circle or figure out with the brown again and do a test run.
