 Dear all,

I've been asked to give a quote for the cake in the attachement.  Never made such before and i'm not sure how to make the watering mouth. I thought it could be made from kitchen tissue covered in fondant to make it light weight but i'm not sure how to attach it to the body (perhaps with chocolate but not sure it will stand well ). I'm also not sure on how to make the actual mouth. I think most other attachment can be made from gum and given plenty of time to dry completely.

All tips and hints will be appreciated especially if you've been lucky to make this/something similar before, will love to hear about the challenges as well.

Many thanks for your time.

i would use a piece of pvc pipe suitable for water pipe

and attach it securely to the cake board

and place the watering can cake around it

make the spout out of gum paste or stiff fondant molded in a bowl of the same shape

and dried well
