Hey everyone! Is there a trick you use or special ingredient for your royal icing to dry shiny? I've tried adding a couple tablespoons of corn syrup towards the end of my mixing but is there a better way, time or something else altogether? Sometimes I feel the color dries a little flat or a little too matte. Thanks in advance! I've got a big cookie order coming up and I'd love to impress the pants outta them! LOL.
Thanks!

plus for royal--you can put the gum arabic into the mixture--no need to paint it on afterwards
I haven't tried it with the reverse edible glitter method but no reason why it would not work
i mean if you use meringue powder and water--no problem-o
dissolve the edible glitter into the water and mix it up
for egg white royal--see if the glitter would dissolve in the egg white--it probably will but i did not test this
and you could add a dab of water in the egg white royal--so dissolving edible white glitter in a little water first would not hurt egg white royal i'm sure
