I need some help figuring out how many layers the cake should be, and should each level be 2 layers? I was thinking 12in 10in and 8in. Does that sound about right?
That is only 118 servings. You will need to change up the sizes, number of tiers or add kitchen cakes to make the difference.

These charts can give you some other suggestions.
Ah, Ducky, I wouldn't do that, an 8" top tier is a bit squatty, ya know? Unless you're putting a ginormous topper up there?
For a good proportional and balanced look, I would do a 5-8-11-14 for 148 servings. Close enough.
I agree that the 8" top would look very squatty on that cake, I would totally put a 6" on there, and by my calculations, that is 130 servings.
I know that the odd sizes are hard to come by, for a smaller volume baker, but AZCouture,s cake would be a lovely configuration, if you have that option.
AYeah no 8" at the top. Gotta go a bit smaller. Also, remember that not everyone will have cake.
