I was requested to make a Pistachio cake with Pistachio frosting and the frosting recipe I have is mostly whipped cream. I'm wondering if this cake is covered in fondant does it need to be refrigerated? I usually don't like putting fondant covered cakes in the fridge because they sweat when you take them out, so I'm unsure what to do. Plus this cake needs to travel 3 hours in a car. Even if anyone has a pistachio frosting recipe that would be ok out of the fridge that would work. Thanks so much

You should definitely refrigerate it.  The condensation isn't a big deal as long as you let the cake come to room temperature without touching it.
