Inexpensive Transport Ideas For 100+ Cupcakes
Baking By BuckeyeBaker Updated 6 Jan 2013 , 9:21pm by BuckeyeBaker
AMy brother and his fiancé have asked me to make cupcakes for their wedding and package them individually to give out to all the guests when they leave. I will be making anywhere from 100 to 250 cupcakes and I will be putting them in small plastic cups then wrapping them in cellophane. How could I go about storing/transporting without them falling over but won't cost me a ton of money? Would shallow boxes work?
I done this over Christmas I packaged 180 cupcakes in those plastic pod things I stored them in those shallow cardboard lettuce boxes I got a few off my local green grocer.

I bought these for individual containers. With shipping and tax the containers were under $ .25 a piece. They are stackable, so they take up less space than the plastic cups with bags around them.

Thanks, I think this would be the best least expensive way for me to transport. I found out today that I will be making 200 cupcakes.

I'll have to compare the costs of both ways and see what will cost less but those look like the much easier way to go. Much less time consuming so it might be worth paying a little extra.
