Hello everyone - I am making a cake a client found online. I have done some pricing for it and want to see what you guys and gals think. It will be a 6 inch and 9 inch covered in fondant. I am attaching a link to the photo of this button cake, which they are using for a baby shower. They plan to cut the pieces a bit large, as it will serve 18 people (I know, that's a lot of cake for 18 people). Anyway, I was thinking of charging $115. I have the Cake Boss software so I know what my expenses are. It's just how much above that I struggle with. Also, do you think royal icing was used on the top button. Would regular icing work just as good? Thank you very much! I appreciate everyone's expertise.

regular icing to pipe the words on the button--sure no problem

over 40 servings @ under $3 each? that's on the low side for designer fondant cake

i'd charge at least $4 per--fair market value $184 minimum for me

what size slice they serve is up to them--that would serve 46 so that's how i set up my pricing
