Getting this effect?

How do I get this wood grain effect on this wedding cake? I'm guessing it's a fondant-covered cake right? I searched online but nothing found for an effect like this.... is this hand-painted or was a wood-grain tool used?

 Thanks!

It's have to say for sure :(  It could be done either way or even with sugar sheets.  I don't know of any preprinted but certainly one could print it out themselves.

I believe the woodgrain effect has been hand-painted on that cake.  Gorgeous work, for sure.

I thought I posted that it was definetly hand painted, but I don't see my post! I have no doubt, though I suppose I could still be wrong:-)

I would rather make 1 cake for $150, than 3 for $50 each.

My sarcasm is good-humored. People generally really like me, in person ;-)

Thanks for the responses! icon_smile.gif So cover the cake in light brown fondant then paint with a fine tip brush?
