I just recently became involved in the world of edible ink..... and LOVE the opportunity it brings!!!! However, after much research, I can't seem to locate an answer...... I am looking for a clear/translucent type of edible paper that allows the background to fade into fondant and frosting.... I plan on using my printer for the images, but I do not want to cut around any edges because, well.... I'm not really good at intricate cutting....lol Is the rice/wafer paper the way to go? I am being overloaded from information that I cannot seem to make any cense from any of it or find if this question has been asked before..... Any help/direction would greatly be appreciated! :)

There are chocolate transfer sheets, but the colors are not as vivid. The reason for the white background is it allows for the colors to have a surface on which to show up. If this is something you are willing to invest in, I would suggest the Silhouette Cameo Electronic Cutter. There is a feature called a print and cut which allows you to use the software from the Silhouette, print using your printer. It prints registration marks which the software then tells the Silhouette where to cut the image. There is more infomration on our website at www.icingimages.com
Also, rather then a rice paper, I would suggest an icing sheet. Our premium brand holds up longer than most when you are working with alot of detail. It doesnt crack and chip like others. I will be glad to answer any further questions you may have.
