Hi, I am baking a birthday cake for a friend and she wants the camoflage (spelling??)pattern on the cake.  Now she wants a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.  I know to make black I need chocolate cream cheese frosting but she does not like the taste of it.  Now what??  Any ideas??

Dark brown, dark green, plus lighter shades of live and beige.  Skip the black.

Would you just use the usual colours to make the dark brown?

Yes just the usual gel or paste icing colours.  If you have to buy them, get the Americolor brand because they come in smaller bottles and better shades of green.
