OR a method of layering edible finishes that will give my fondant cakes sort of a "glazed" look. Like pottery. Sort of a shellac for cakes with a slight sheen to it. But not just a can of pearl spray. I love mah pearl spray but it can't really be used on black or dark colors without changing the color or just looking like overspray. I know that there are edible glazes out there, but want something that would make a colorful cake look like a peice of glazed pottery. Any suggestions?

Hmmm thanks for this info. I too have been looking for that one magical thing that will give my white fondant cakes a sheen. Spent loads of money already on Americolor airbrush pearl sheen spray but find it gets lost on white fondant. I usually dust ultra white or super pearl dust over the cake to make it sparkle.
Must look for this PME edible spray glaze.
