From a client earlier today who is ordering 4 cakes from me: Me: what flavors? Her: Oh I dunno, it just has to be over the top because so and so does cakes and I want it better than here"  ME:How many will this be feeding? Her: I'm not sure. She is just gonna take what she gets (the lady is her aunt) The design???? Uhhhhh a "blunt" "joint" "marijauna cigarette" I decided to do something for about 30 people then atthe last monute if she needs more I can throw in cupcakes. This woman can bring me TONS of business. SO I hope whatever over the top flavor I choose goes well. I thought of choosing a gooey mess of several different flavors and mediums....then I thought dreamsicle cake....then maybe blueberry with lemon curd???? What would be most likey to satisfy a large group of people? I figure they will have the munchies...heheheeh

My most popular flavors are chocolate with cookies and cream and white with strawberry. You could always make brownies with weed butter, if you live in Washington or Colorado, lol.

I once made a box of chocolate cigars cake and made Mary Jane with coconut dyed OD green.

Thought about putting cookie coconut in a baggy dyed green... Maybe make a bong out of rice crispy treats? LOL

Olive Drab It is a military green. My step-father was in the military and that is what they called the color of their socks and stuff. And when you paint military items for model trains sets, that is the color of the paint you use, duh, lol. And no, it was not my hobby, but it was his, and I had nothing better to do, since I was grounded all the time for my smart mouth, haha.

Thought you guys might like this email of the strangest order I've ever gotten: "Hannah can I tried to email you but I added you on fb so I could just talk to you here. I really like zig zag and I really like leopard so maybe a mix. Budgeting here so would appreciate a cheaper recipe and we like chocolate well my hubby does but white would be okay I bet that's cheaper. I would like to serve 18 or so people I think and so maybe just one layer but two layers if it wouldn't be too much trouble or very much extra. Like I said not too much fondant because everyone peels it off anyways so I don't understand what it's used for except to color the cake more. I also like ruffles cake you did. let me know if you can do this or how much this cake will cost." Wondering what kind of cake they want or how to even respond. :/

Good luck with that, Hannah!

Sheesh - just reading that made me all breathless.

Truly one who thinks punctuation is optional.

There. Their. They're not the same.

I hope I die before "your" becomes the official contraction of "you are."

I seriously can't understand anything when they don't punctuate. It also just screams that they can't afford a nice cake. I hate saying that but I just automatically assume.

Assume? She said it...repeatedly!

You may get a cake for $way to little but you won't get this cake!

With a great deal of enthusiasm he told me that he could go the supermarket and get exactly what he wanted in 24 hours. When I told him that he wouldn't be getting anything like I could make, he made a very derisive snorting noise.

If I wasn't such a genteel person I would have hurt my hands strangling him to death.

I'm sure you could hire someone on craigslist...

Not sure if this belongs in this post or not, but I recently had a wedding planner refer to me as a cake lady. It kind of rubbed me the wrong way. If you're not going to refer to me as a custom wedding cake designer (icon_wink.gif over the top, I know), at least refer to me as a cake decorator icon_lol.gif.

Oh I don't like that either! I'm the cake artist. Says so on my business card.
