Remember the cake I mentioned where the owner of the bed & breakfast told me the wedding was the 28th and then on the evening of the 27th told me it was the 29th? Well, she asked me to deliver @10am today. I arrived at 9:45...her husband came into the kitchen and was very angry. He began telling me the cake needed to go outside (wedding was at noon) and that I shouldn't have delivered until 11. He was SO angry. I just said, this is what your wife and I agreed to and it's 9:45. He said, "I'll go get her!" and as he storm out of the kitchen he bumps into me and knocks me aside!!!! He didn't say a word and stormed out! He never even slowed down as he hit me on his way through! There was plenty of room around me, I really believe he did this on purpose!!!!
Then, his wife and (I assume) her mother come in the kitchen with him. They approach the cake from the back side, mother coming in first, she ROLLS HER EYES AND BOBS HER HEAD and says, "THAT'S the CAKE???? What ELSE goes on it????" I said, "Nothing, this is done exactly as requested by the bride" The wife confirms that it is exactly as ordered. They debate on how on earth they are going to carry a two tier cake (6" & 10') out onto the porch.....15 feet away. I am instructed to leave it in the laundry room on the washer and I get the heck outta there ASAP! wow. I have never been done that way before!!!!!
Have y'all ever been treated so badly???
That is soooo wrong! Some people are soo heartless!! Luckily their are more appreciative customers than un appreciative.
End of May I had a graduation cake with a letterman jacket hat and football. I was up all night making it slept for 15 minutes. I sent her pictures and left to my daughters kindergarten graduation. (Pickup at none)She txted me back and said it was not what sne wanted. That she wanted it EXACTLY like the picture she sent me. (In that case she should of contacted that baker.) She asked me what I could do to fix it. Well nothing.. I was pleased with what I did and didnt see that it needed to be fixed. She said "well I guess I will take it since I have no other choice". I took a breath (trying not to cry at my daughters graduation over this) and refused to give to her. I told her I would not let her take and bash my cake infront of all her dinner guest. So I stood there and looked at the caKe when I got home and decided to GIVE it to one of my friends who was also graduation. She offered to pay but I gave it as a gift because I knew it would be appriciated. So here are the before and after it worked out perfectly!
She showed pigs in highschool
After this incident everyone told me that she is the type that is NEVER happy and doesnt appreciate anything. Wow thanks for telking me now lol!
