AAccidentally posted this in how to... Anyways...

Hey ladies and gents! Question..I typically rely on the usual suspects as far as flavoring goes...vanilla, almond, etc...but I've been hearing more about special flavorings with interesting names like from Lorann Oils, the Princess cake and cookie flavor...and heard another cutesy named flavor that was used in a popular buttercream recipe that I saw somewhere on CC not long ago... Anyways, any reviews or comments on these? Thanks!

I like the Lorann Oils. They're pretty strong so when making frosting you don't have to put much in. Definitely recommend using an eye dropper though, it will help. Otherwise I've used the Lorann oils in cakes too, almost a whole little bottle per batch of cake. The cake will have the flavor of whatever you use, and it will be fairly strong, but still good. I really like the raspberry and champagne flavors. I use the super fruity ones or bubblegum more for candies and chocolates.
