Printing Patterns for Cakes?

Thread Starter

I'd like to make a large cake in the shape of a number 3 for my nephew. How can I get a pattern large enough to cut the cake in that shape? My printer only prints out regular sized paper & I'm horrible at drawing. I think I read somewhere that you can print out like 4 pages then tape them together to make one huge poster/page/pattern. How can I do this? Any links to tutorials would be really helpful also!

I hope I die before "your" is the official contraction of "you are."

If you go to this link and click on the word "templates" in blue under the number 20 cake it will open up number templates so you can print out. They use 2 pieces of paper and you align them at the marked lines. Iv never used it and I just happen to run across that website one day and saved it. Hope it helps you ;)
