Packaging idea for Oreo Truffles

Hello..
I have an order for 5 dozen Oreo truffles in three different flavors. The clients wants them 6 to a box two of each flavor. I will be putting them into mini cupcakes liners in holiday colors and initially had thought of putting them into the smallest bakery window boxes I already purchased from Target dollar bin. Now, I feel that the boxes are a little too big for the truffles.. even though I stuff it with tissues on the bottom..
It would work but I am still looking for any other creative ideas to pack them. I want to spend no more than $1.00 per box in packaging. Any ideas anyone???
They are not due until the 18th.

Since it is holiday season you could reuse some old holiday tins like this:

Thanks so much for the amazing ideas! The tins are gorgeous and the paper gift boxes are adorable.. Definitely added these to my 141 must-do list :)

 

Unfortunately, tins wont work for me on this order as I dont have any smaller tins and if I am buying them new, I would rather just buy holiday themed ones.. I am thinking of something with a window.. like window bakery boxes..

 

Paper boxes seems a lot of work as I have so many other things going around.. but I will make them ONE day ..they are super cute...

You could dress them up with holiday stickers or tie ribbons around the box or something.
