I am making a model of a little girl and want to give her "curly hair".

I have made long hair in the past but it ends up quite brittle. Is there a way to make it so it will be a little stronger. I normally use sugarpaste and add tylose to it.

Thanks.

Hi, when i make people, I use pastialage. It is stronger. I use the walnut hollow extruder for the hair and curlicue it around a tooth pick, for just a minute, than put it on the head in layers. hth

Can I make pastillage or do I need to buy it?

Sorry if that sounds like a stupid question :)
