I would think you would have to submit your cakes to the editorial team although they would probably be looking for some kind of press release with some interesting news.
There is a UK magazine called Wedding Cakes a Design Source which anyone can submit cake pictures to.

There are a lot of ways to get press...PM me and I'll work up a list for you, it might take a while. Submitting to big magazines is a pretty dismal prospect, though, they pretty much call and tell you that they want photos, they don't take things from random submissions.
