i am looking into gettin a printer for edible images, and dont know if there are some that are better than others. Are there certain feature that i want? is certain ink better than others? better paper than others? and most impotantly does the ink dry out fast, i have a business out of my home, and dont use edible images very often, but would like to have it for certain kinds of cakes. thank you s much for you advice!

Here's a link to a good resource:

I bought the Canon ip3600, and I like it. What I've learned so far is:
1) Get cartridges that you can both refill, and that have auto-resetting micro-chips, so that you can actually use the cartridges once you refill them. I get mine from inkedibles.com
2) Get good edible paper. There are better brands than Lucks - try KopyKakes or the stuff from inkedibles. No matter the brand though, keep them sealed in the package they come in, and they won't dry out.
Good Luck!
