I have $50-$80 that I can spend on getting some cake toys. I was thinking of getting silicone molds since they are all the rage now!
Any recommendations on which ones to get?
Or what would you spend the money on?
It would be easier to say what ISN'T on my wish list
I want the damask wedding cake stencils from designer stencils (75), and a mini ball pan to make six packs of ornament mini cakes. Maybe I'll find one on sale after Christmas. I'd also love to have an edible ink printer.
AI was thinking of the damask stencils too, but I got some smaller ones from michaels which worked good. They were the Martha Stewart ones
Carma Massa fondant, a cake ball pan, a ton of vanilla beans to make my own extract, yummy chocolate (there is no good chocolate in my area), and yes...the damask stencils too! They are so beautiful! sigh...
AI'm leaning towards lace molds....any recommendation on getting nice ones that aren't too expensive?
The lace molds are a great idea but why not make your own! You can find lace appliques and create your own mold from them. I like to get the appliques off of ebay because there is such a big selection.
I use Amazing Mold Putty to make lace molds. I've also found nice lace for molds on Etsy, as well as eBay. And my sewing room.
I was exploring ideas on making them on my own. Will lace be available in Joann? I did see some online, but wanted to see if i can find anything local.
