I bought a Martha Stewart igloo pan and am trying to use it but the center won't bake! I'm using a cinnamon coffee pound cake type recipe. I then put a metal cake batter tester in the middle to see if that would work , but it's not baking still.
what am I doing wrong?!?!?

pound cake takes a long time to bake, and because the pan is so deep, it will take a really long time to cook. Putting a cake tester or metal flour nail in is a good idea and might help, but I would lower the temperature to 325 (300 convection) so the outside doesn't get overcooked, and give it a long time. Depending on your recipe, it may be well over an hour. It may not take as long if you use a regular, less dense cake recipe. Good luck!
I'd rather be baking!
